Jingle Bell Gingerbread Coffee
Inspired by the flavorful gingerbread lattes at your favorite coffee shop, we’ve put together a super-easy gingerbread coffee recipe that gives you all the warm and spicy notes of winter that you’ve been craving. Pair it with a crunchy gingerbread man for the perfect holiday treat to ward off the winter chill and get into the spirit of the season.INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup Molasses
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 3/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 6 cups Hot, Brewed Coffee
- 1 cup Half-and-Half
- 1 tsp Ground Cloves
- Whipped Cream (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Prep: 5min | Cook: 2-min | Ready in: 25min
Step 1:
In a small bowl, mix together the molasses, brown sugar, baking soda, ginger and cinnamon until well blended. Cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Step 2:
Add ¼ cup coffee to each cup, then stir in 1 tbsp of the spice mixture until dissolved. Fill cup with coffee to within an inch of the top. Stir in half-and-half to taste, then garnish with whipped cream and a light dusting of ground cloves.
