1hr 27mins - 1hr 30mins | 4 servings | 321 cal

INGREDIENTS

4 to 6 fresh or frozen salmon fillets, about 1-inch thick
1 cedar grill plank
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon minced shallot
1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives
2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Fresh lemon wedges

DIRECTIONS

Prep: 1hr 15min | Cook: 12min - 15min | Ready in: 1hr 27min - 1hr 30min

Step 1

Thaw fish if frozen. Rinse fish; pat dry with paper towels.

Step 2

Soak plank in enough water to cover for 1 hour.

Step 3

In a small bowl combine maple syrup, shallot, chives, mustard, salt, and crushed red pepper. Brush mixture onto salmon.

Step 4

For a gas or charcoal grill place plank on a grill rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium heat about 5 minutes or until plank begins to crackle and smoke. Place salmon on plank, skin side down. Cover and grill 12 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes when tested with a fork. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
